Are you tired of having no energy to do the things you want to do? Do you wish you felt better about yourself and things in general?  Do you want to feel more healthy?  Be more healthy?

I want to share with you information, experiences and tips I have learned over the past few years when I started wanting to live a more healthy lifestyle. I have learned many things, the biggest being to start out slow. I made a few changes, one change at a time which made things much easier for me. If I can do this, I know you can too! And what’s better is that we can do this together!

I’ve totally changed my lifestyle in the past year and created this website to share some of my experiences with anyone looking to live a more healthy lifestyle.

I have had diabetes for several years, was overweight, no energy and not feeling real good about myself and my life and it wasn’t getting any better. I decided one day to do something about it.

A year later, I am 61 pounds lighter, have much more energy, my A1c has dropped from 9.5% to 6.2% and I’m feeling good!

It wasn’t easy at first but as I learned to just have fun with it all, it became much easier.  There are several ways to change to a healthier lifestyle. This past year, I have chosen the raw food diet way. And I didn’t think of it as a diet but more as just a different way of eating.

Now I am still eating mostly raw food but starting to add in a cooked meal once a day. I’ll be trying new healthy recipes and sharing them with you.

If you are just starting out and not sure how to begin living a healthier lifestyle, I would love to share my ideas with you.  I would love to show you how healthy eating can be fun and so worth it.  Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know how you are doing on your healthy journey.
