Here’s an easy recipe to make and doesn’t take long at all. This baked salmon and asparagus recipe is one of my favorites. When you buy salmon, make sure it is wild caught salmon and you get it from a reputable market. You can buy steaks or fillets. It should not smell fishy at all.
Baked Salmon Ingredients and Instructions
4 – 3 ounce Salmon Fillets
Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Olive Oil to Drizzle
All you need to do is place the seasoned fillets on a non-stick baking sheet with the skin side down. Then just drizzle with olive oil. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes, until the fish flakes easily. Then serve this baked salmon with the asparagus.
Here’s the Asparagus Ingredients and Instructions:
1 LB Fresh Asparagus Spears
3 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 TSP Himalayan Sea Salt
1/4 TSP Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 TBS Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Butter
What you want to do is trim the asparagus by breaking off the hard end of the spear. Then in a large skillet, you will want to melt the butter over medium heat. Then turn up to medium high and stir in the olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic. You don’t want it to brown. Then add in the asparagus and cook 10 minutes. You’ll want to turn it often to make sure the asparagus is evenly cooked and coated with the seasonings.
Often times I will steam the asparagus instead of baking. You can see which one you would prefer. But one thing for sure is that this baked salmon recipe is delicious!
