Let’s Have Fun With These Fall Superfood Smoothies

It’s almost fall and not only is it a great time to shop for in season fruits and vegetables at your local market but also a great time to start fixing fall superfood smoothies. As we know, a smoothie is a delicious healthy drink that contains lots of nutrients we need daily. I have some recipes here that are not only a great option for the fall season, but they also contain superfoods that will give you an extra boost.

The following fall superfood smoothies will all make 2 servings. Obviously, if you only want one of these fall superfood smoothies, you’ll just need to cut the amounts in half. Here we go…

Spiced Blueberry Walnut Smoothie

This smoothie is full of powerful antioxidants. They can help you get over some sickness you may have a little faster. It’s delicious and refreshing. You can try adding the cinnamon
last so that you can season it to your liking.

2 cups almond milk
2 cups frozen organic wild blueberries
2 tbsp ground flax seeds (fresh)
2 tbsp organic molasses
2 tsps cinnamon
4 – 6 ice cubes


Cranberry Orange Smoothie

This is packed with vitamin C and is great immune system booster. It’s also a great way
to get a quick afternoon pick me up.

6 oranges, about 2 pounds without peel and sectioned
2 cups frozen cranberries,
1 16-ounce bottle cranberry kombucha
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
6 ice cubes

Here’s a couple more delicious fall superfood smoothies to try.

Pumpkin Apple Smoothie

This smoothie is great for heart health and can settle the stomach.

1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp oats
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1 1/2 cup organic Greek yogurt
2 medium organic Fuji apples
1 banana, frozen and broken into pieces
1 cup almond milk
1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
10 ice cubes


Banana Carrot Smoothie

This awesome smoothie is a little bit like a carrot cake.

1 frozen banana broken into chunks
1 scoop whey protein
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 tsp ginger
4 ice cubes
