Today I wanted to talk about snacks, healthy snacks. I knew a lot about unhealthy snacks, so when I decided to start living more healthy, I wanted to find some healthy snacks. And they do exist! Having a snack between meals can keep your energy levels up and also helps to not overeat when meal time comes.
A handful of nuts is a great option. Besides tasting good, nuts provide omega-3 fatty acids, which our bodies need. They contain fiber, which helps our stomach feel full. And they also have minerals, vitamins and protein. You should enjoy these in moderation. I put a small handful in my blender drink in the morning. I usually use walnuts, macadamia nuts or cashews. But they’re great to have as a snack in the afternoon.
Another healthy snack I like are berries. And while I will usually add blueberries to my blender drinks, some times a bowl of strawberries in the afternoon hits the spot.
And there are many healthy raw food snacks that you can easily fix.
I want to share some recipes for healthy snacks. I love to snack and my choices in the past have not been too good. But I have, over the last couple of years, found some really good and healthy recipes for snacks. Have fun fixing these easy healthy snacks!
This healthy snack is called White Bean Dip.
Here’s another one for Cauliflower Nachos.
Here’s a Home Made Hummus recipe.
This one is for Cauliflower Pizza Bites.
Another one of the healthy snacks I found. This one is called Greek Style Stuffed Mushrooms.
The last recipe in this post of healthy snacks is one called Sweet Pea Crostini.
Next time you’re wanting to fix some healthy snacks, why not try one of these? You might just find a new favorite!
